The chemical sector is a priority for development of Russian economics. “The strategy of chemical and petrochemical industry growth up to 2015” has set these economical sectors strategically important for Russian market. In accordance with the strategy the Chemical Forum contributes to the promotion to the Russian market of the advanced technologies, high-efficiency equipment, new generation materials, thereby promoting modernization of Russian chemical complex.

Main Forum objectives are: displaying of chemical science and production achievements, applying them to create new chemical factories, business cooperation and to the discussion of different aspects of industry sustainable growth in the North-West region of Russia.

HISTORICAL REWUE:

The first exhibition was held 12th years ago (prior to 2007 the exhibition was entitled ExpoChemistry) and it has now become a vital marketing tool for the majority of the materials and equipment manufactures for the chemical sector.

Since 2008 the exhibitions and business programme has been referred to as Petersburg Chemical Forum.
