NATIONAL DAY OF FINLAND

On March 12 at the “Fashion Industry”  International fair a national Day of Finland is arranged.

Finnish companies kindly invite you to visit stands of TURO TAILOR, FINNKARELIA, BELTTIE, NP-COLLECTION and NINI’S companies to see new collections of women’s, men’s clothes, leather accessorizes and ties. All companies produce   middle and middle-high price garments.

TIMING OF DAY OF FINLAND:

• Presentation of Finnish Brands
• Presentation of an international fashion event FINNISH CATWALK (Helsinki). Conducted by Satu Mehtala, the director of Finnish Association of Textiles and Clothes (FINATEX)
• Presentation of a famous professional fashion-magazine “MODIN”. Conducted by Yrjo Gorski, the director of Association of Finnish retailers
• Demonstration of new Finnish collections at the fair podium  
• B2B meetings at stands of national Finnish Exposition

On March 12 - 13 “Fashion Industry” will be visited by a Finnish Buyers delegation, gathered by   « Association of Finnish retailers and FAREXPO Exhibition Group и компанией Фарэкспо.

A group of students from Helsinki University of Art and Design ( future managers and designers) will study at seminars of Economical Forum of Fashion Industry.

FINNISH CATWALK Fashion Event

The exhibition is held twice a year in Wanha Satama  in Helsinki. Exhibitors are clothes and textile manufacturing companies from Finland, Sweden and Denmark.  It is the largest fashion event in Finland which is traditionally visited with a great number of professional visitors. The following FINNISH CATWALK will be held on August 23 – 24. There will be collections of spring/summer 2010.  

Firstly in Russia an exclusive collection of evening dresses of famous Scandinavian designer Jukka Rintala will be presented.

Terms of participation:
Participation is free of charge for specialists of fashion industry. A registration in advance should be done.
