Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion

Over 250 experts fr om various regions of Russia, Finland, Italy, Romania, Kazakhstan visited the 10th Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion in Autumn 2009. Over 70 Russian trading networks all over the Russia were represented by agents from Ekaterinburg, Norilsk, Ivanov, Vologda, Tambov, Petrozavodsk, Pskov, Cherepovets, Velikiy Novgorod and other cities.

Program of the Forum included 5 events:

  • Specialized Conference «The crisis: new opportunities for fashion industry in Russia». «Rossiyskie Torgovye Marki» portal (Saint Petersburg)
  • Seminar «Fashion trends» (season spring/summer 2010). Milan New Academy of Fine Arts (Italy)

SPECIAL BUYERS PROGRAM

In autumn 2009 a Special Buyers Program was participated by 69 trade companies from Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Pskov, Murmansk, Vladikavkaz, Dmitrov, Kaliningrad, Ussuriysk, Syastroy, Rostov-na-Donu, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Novouralsk, Salekhard, Velikiy Novgorod, Azov, Perm, Yaroslavl, Penza, Yoshkar-Ola, Petrozavodsk, Ufa, Norilskm Stariy Oskol, Velikiy Ustug, Sheksna, Vologda, Cherepovets, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Cheboksary, Cherepovets, Ekaterinburg, Kostomuksha, Moscow, Murmansk, Nizhniy Novgorod, Penza, Perm’.
At the same time with Buyers Program e new contest for “The most active purchaser” was organized. The winner of the spring Fashion Industry Fair became the Director of “Seasons.ru” store chain Valentina Ilyasova. She was awarded with a special prize – Certificate for free visiting all of the events of Economic Forum of Fashion Industry.

PROJECT “DAY OF FINLAND”

In autumn 2009 at the Fashion Industry International Fair a national exposition of Finland was organized. On September 30, 2009 a “Day of Finland” was arranged to present Finnish trademarks for Russian buyers. Presentations were made by companies NP-collection and Nini’s. Visitors of the event were 34 specialists from St Petersburg, Moscow, Pskov, Vladikavkaz, Dmitrov, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, SAlekhard, Murmansk, Syastroy, Penza, Velikiy Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Norilsk, Vologda, Velikiy Ustyug, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.

PROJECT “DAY OF BULGARIA”

In autumn 2009 at Fashion Industry International Fair a National Exposition of Bulgarian Companies was presented. On October 1 a “Day of Bulgaria” was organized wh ere presentations of Markam, Boryana and Vayana companies we done. Visitors of the presentation were 32 specialists from Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Pskov, Murmansk, Vladikavkaz, Dmitrov, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Velikiy Novgorod, Penza, Yoshkar-Ola, Petrozavodsk, Ufa, Velikiy Ustug, Vologda.

NATIONAL EXPOSITION OF ITALY

In autumn 2009 at Fashion Industry a National Exposition of Italian Companies “Area Italia” was presented. Visitors of the fair could see new collections of over 10 Italian brands of men’s and women’s clothes, children’s clothes, home textiles and accessories.

NATIONAL EXPOSITION OF ROMANIA

In autumn 2009 at Fashion Industry for the first time a National Exposition of Romania was presented. Visitors of the fair could see new collections of over 8 Italian brands of men’s and women’s clothes, children’s clothes, outer clothes and accessories.

COMPETITION OF CREATIVE PROJECTS “GENERATION NEXT”

In autumn 2009 “FAREXPO” and Innovative Education Technology Bureau organized an International Contest of creative projects for young professionals of fashion industry GENERATION NEXT. Participants of the Contest were over 50 young specialists of fashion industry garments.
According to the voting of professional juries a Grand prix winner became a collection “Tlinkity” made by Olga Grebtsova, a student of St Petersburg State University of Textile and Design.

  • Attraction of region trade business delegations to the fair: Organization of bus delegations from the cities of Velikiy Novgorod and Pskov escorted with TV and mass-media
