Venue: The exhibition will be held in Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex. It is one of the best exhibition sites of the city. It has a lot of special facilities for participants as well as spacious halls and foyer, modern exhibition equipment, professional podiums with spectator places next to them, conference halls, bars, cafes and wardrobes.

The general information on the exhibition: The Fashion Industry Exhibition Project is a part of Integral Development of National Textile and Garment markets Programs entitled “Russian Fashion” (“Roslegprom” Jsc / “RLP-Yarmarka” Ltd) and "Russian weeks of textiles and fashion" (Concern "Rostextil" Public Corporation / "Textilexpo" Joint-Stock Company). A new stage of the Fashion Industry Exhibition development was an official international recognition in 2004 when the fair became a certified member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
Fashion Industry fair seasonally organized by FAREXPO Jsc is the largest fashion exhibitions in the North-Western region of Russia. It is listed among the most significant events supported by Saint Petersburg City Administration and the Government of Leningrad region. Fashion Industry International Fair also has close relationship with Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the North-Western region of Russia and Governments of other Russian Regions. The exhibition is awarded with the Medal of the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

The most important purpose of the exhibition: Is creation of best conditions for one’s presentation of made garments, exchange of professional experience in the sector of technologies and professional business organization, establishment of new contacts and concluding treaties with them, marketing research and research of one’s goods comprehensiveness.

The conception of the fair development is directed to business with wholesalers and specialists of fashion industry.

12 and 13 march – the entrance is restricted for the specialists and trade representatives. Entrance is free of charge. Ticket office is closed.
14 and 15 march - the entrance for the specialists and trade representatives is free of charge. Ticket office is open for public visitors.

Exposition area: over 14 000 sqm
Exhibitors: about 300 cpmanies from Russia and foreign countries

Visitors: over 15 000 people. The number of professional visitors is over 6 800 people.

Business program of the exhibition:
The most important business event during the Fair is the Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion. It is participated by over 400 experts of the branch – chief managers of manufacturing firms and trade networks, retail buyers, designers and production engineers, mass media agents and specialized universities’ teachers and students.
Particular attention during the Forum is paid to the following subjects:

• Human Resources as a basis for Profit Increase
• Fashion Trends for the season of spring-summer 2008
• Opening of a new shop or efficient reorganization of the existing one

Advertising campaign: Direct mail and courier distribution of personal invitation cards to the chiefs of the key trading companies and specialists of the market of the fashion. Announcement of the fair and its business program in specialized mass media. Advertising in the World Wide Web by means of banners and floating windows. Preview trailers on the popular radio and principal television cannels. Street and subway advertisement. Distribution of press- and post-releases. Organization of region trade business delegations coming to the Fair escorted with TV and mass-media.
